We did the 2 day/1 night Circut 1-B tour of Machu Picchu with TreXperience and overall would recommend them to others interested in doing the same trip. The team was incredibly responsive and helpful, and arranged everything for us quite seamlessly. The trip to Aguas Calientes and the tour of the Citadel was well coordinated. The hotel in Aguas Calientes left a lot to be desired, so I would recommend upgrading if possible. Our return to Cusco was also challenging as it appears there were not direct trains back so we had to spend all afternoon waiting, then had a delay of 1.5 hours, then took a 2 hour train ride to another town to take a 2 hour van ride from there back to Cusco. No fault of the TreXperience team but something to keep in mind and ask about when you are booking. Big thanks to Joyce, Edith and Yovan for making such a memorable trip for me and my dad.

WOW! TreXperience is an amazing company! We bought the 8 day package and enjoyed every minute. The guides were so knowledge = Cusco City, Inca territory/culture, nature (plants, crops, animals) there wasn't a question they couldn't answer. We enjoyed Jose for the Cusco City & Sacred Valley Tours, Filio & Fernando for 4 Day Inca Trail, and Pamela for Rainbow Mt & Red Valley Tour. The company provides great transportation. Their vans are very comfortable and drivers do an excellent job. Hotels they booked for Cusco and Ollantaytambo were great. They had nice breakfast buffet and clean rooms. Basic, bring your own toiletries if you're picky, no lotion, etc. The Inca Trail deserves it's own section! Filio and Fernando were superb!! They were super friendly, amazingly patient with some slow hikers in our group, and great personalities- funny, always joking around. Filio was our head guide, his knowledge about they Inca history, culture, food, animals, etc. was mind blowing. He would talk for hours, if you let him and we didn't have miles to hike - Vamos! You can feel his love and passion for the culture. Again, not a question he couldn't answer. Freddy our head chef for the 4 days was also outstanding. The quality of food they prepare on gas camping stoves is impressive. We ate fresh roasted chicken, beef rolled with veggies, LOTS of potatoes, rice, all kinds of veggies and fruits. Breakfast included eggs, meat, cinnamon porridge, fresh fruit, bread, large assortment of tea, coffee, etc. You can't possibly go hungry while they are feeding you. They also prepared a small dessert each night, and a large cake on the last day! I really appreciated how healthy everything was. 5 stars to the chefs and still so amazed at what they can do at that altitude. Also thank you to the 16 porters who carried out gear! Tents, food, kitchen supplies, personal items, etc. They would have our tents and mats all set up when we arrived from a long day of hiking and then shortly after a wash basin of warm water, Heavenly! There are a lot of different companies to choose from in Cusco, but TreXperience will be my #1 to recommend to friends and family! This trek was amazing and exceeded all expectations! Our trek leaders Juan and Roger were absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and ran our tour very smoothly, making sure we always had everything we needed. The food was also absolutely fabulous, I can’t believe it was all brought and made on site. I would definitely recommend this trek to anyone!
